Japanese competitor, Kyoko Yonemoto, is greeted warmly by host mum Mary Stamers-Smith when she, and the other competitors arrived after their long international flights. A shower, a hot-cooked meal and a comfortable bed were the activites planned for their first night in New Zealand.
